At 56, I’m not lifting heavy weights or trying to impress anybody in the gym. My goal now is simple: age better, stay functional, and keep my body looking and feeling young.
One of the most effective—and underrated—movements I use is the tricep kick-out (also known as a tricep kickback). In my video, I show exactly how I do it. https://www.facebook.com/reel/2787980394741212/
It’s a small movement with a big impact.

Why Tricep Kick-Outs Matter for Anti-Aging
As we age, the triceps are one of the first places men notice:
- Loose skin
- Loss of tone
- Dropping shape
- Reduced strength
You don’t need heavy weights or machines to reverse this.
Tricep kick-outs tighten, shape, and strengthen your arms in a way that is joint-friendly, low-impact, and ideal for longevity.
What this movement helps with:
✔ Tones the triceps
✔ Keeps the arms looking younger
✔ Improves arm definition
✔ Boosts circulation
✔ Activates muscle without stressing the joints
✔ Supports daily strength for pushing and lifting
My Routine at 56
I keep it simple. Some days I do calisthenics, some days mobility, and some days—like in this video—tricep kick-outs are all I need.
Why I do it this way:
- I recover slower now
- Heavy weights add unnecessary strain
- Longevity > ego lifting
- I want to feel good, not beat up
- Small, consistent movements create big results
This movement keeps my arms lean, tight, and youthful—without equipment and without pain.
How I Do Tricep Kick-Outs
No heavy weights.
No gym.
No complicated form.
Just:
- Elbow tucked close
- Full extension back (the “kick-out”)
- Slow, controlled movement
- High reps or timed sets
The focus is on activation, not load.
This is one of the best ways to reshape your triceps and keep your arms looking strong and young as you age.
Longevity Training Means Training Smart
At SempreFit Innovations, we focus on aging with strength, not breaking down the body with workouts that drain you.
Your longevity routine should:
- Protect your joints
- Maintain lean muscle
- Improve mobility
- Support daily function
- Reduce inflammation
- Keep you fit without burnout
Tricep kick-outs check all those boxes.
A Personal Message
At 56, I’m not trying to compete with anyone.
I’m trying to live longer, move better, and look younger in a natural way.
If a simple movement like tricep kick-outs can make your arms tighter, more defined, and more youthful—start there.
Do what your body can handle.
Do what feels right.
Do what you can stay consistent with.
That’s real longevity.
